The incident happened in a place naned Kudathai in Kozhikkode district of Kerala. A woman named Jolly murdered 6 people over a period of 14 years using Pottassium Cyanide
Now a controversy going on in Malayalam film industry regarding this incident. This happened after the announcement of a film based on this incident by Antony Perumbavoor starring Mohanlal lal as the investigating officer
But a day before this announcement Film-TV actress Dini Daniel came out with the announcement of film named 'Kudathai' based on the incident. She also released the first look poster of this. Ronex Philip was supposed to direct the film in which Dini will play the role of Dolly
