Three Malayalam films got entry into the nomination list for Oscar 2020 from India.
The selection of India's official entry to the 2020 Academy Awards is reportedly underway in Kolkata, West Bengal. The selection process, which is being said to have begun on Wednesday at a single-screen theatre, is expected to continue up until Sunday.
As many as 28 movies are being reported to be contending against one another in the process which is being conducted under the supervision of actor-turned-filmmaker Aparna Sen, who is the chairperson of the committee.
