"Soofiyum Sujathayum" is the name of the movie, which is actually a musical love story.
Jayasurya will pair with Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari in this movie. The interesting fact is through this film Friday Film House presenting their 12th debutant director, Naranipuzha Shanavas.
Aditi Rao Hydari is well known for her roles in films like ‘Murder 3’, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ and ‘Padmaavat’. ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ is Aditi’s second film in Malayalam. It must be noted that her acting debut was in Malayalam with the Mammootty starrer ‘Prajapathi’, which got released back in 2006.
‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ also stars Siddique, Hareesh Kanaran, Vijay Babu, Mamukkoya, Manikandan Pattambi, Kalaranjini and ‘Thamaasha’ fame Navas Vallikkunnu in prominent roles.
On the technical front, ‘Athiran’ fame Anu Moothedath has been signed as the cinematographer and veteran M Jayachandran will be handling the music department.
