These people are cleverly missusing the logo and letter pad of the movie and the production team and saying that there is mainly a role in the film named "Kanchanamala", the lover of the character played by Vikram and many more other roles.
The director R S Vimal himself came on the social media explaining the current threat to his work. His words are as follows:
"Dear friends,
I wanted to let you all know about a serious fraud scheme that have been going on regarding the casting of my movie Karna.
And now there are some fraud casting calls that have been going on in online for fresh faces and asking people to fill their details and asking for money, they have used our logo, design emblems, fake seal and fake office address in Chennai and Mumbai, A big lobby is behind all this Fraud Casting Calls and got all the proof and documents against them.
I already filed a petition with all the documents against this Fraud Casting Lobby to the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, DGP and Commissioner.
The casting of the movie was completed almost 6 months ago, And I have office only at Hyderabad.
I want you all to know this is a serious issue and don't get scammed by these kind of fraud casting or any sort of other scams involving the movies name.
